About Us

 Seasoned restaurant pro Toney Edmonds opened his first solo venture, Meadow Roast Café, in Essex, Vermont in 2026.  Edmonds said his first experience working in restaurants started with washing dishes at the age of 15. From there he worked his way up to general manager positions at national restaurant chains such as La Madeleine, a French-style bakery and café, where he learned to bake. He will be on-site daily making sure that everything on the menu is prepared to make our customers happy.
